RIDERLESS HORSE

Yesterday, Honey and I were visiting while having coffee. CNN had a deal mentioning that 43 years ago today, President Kennedy was assassinated. We were talking about how quickly time passes. I said that I remember watching the funeral on tv. I especially remembered the riderless horse. Honey hesitated a moment and then said, "That must have been a well trained horse." I hesitated several moments and said, "The horse was led for pete's sake." Then I started laughing as did Honey. After a bit I relayed a funny story. My friend was helping her sister lay a concrete base for a hot tub this summer. She told her to call Building Material Supply and ask how much a "yard" of concrete would cost. T called them and a young girl answered. T asked, "How much does a yard of concrete cost?" The girl said, "I don't know. How big is your yard?" T laughed so hard. She told the girl to get someone else. She did. I know that people who don't do alot of their own fixing up stuff wouldn't get the joke but it is funny. Then Honey said that it would have been funnier if I hadn't told it right after he said something stupid. Ha. It was a good laugh.
